1° Can you outline the history and activity of your company in a few words?
DM Financial Luxembourg SA provides registrar agent, central administration, client communication agent, domiciliation and company formation services, and acts as management agent, and as such is supervised by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF).
Incorporated in 2018 as an independent employee-owned company, ownership transitioned to DM Financial in 2025. This integration was a significant strategic milestone.
Founded in 2007, DM Financial began as a specialist in financial reporting. Today, DM offers a comprehensive portfolio of global services to asset managers and fund administrators, including Financial Reporting, Management Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Directorships & Corporate Secretarial, Fund Administration, Taxation Compliance and Fund Liquidation services.
The group now have offices in Ireland, the UK, Singapore, Cayman Islands, Luxembourg, The Netherlands and Bulgaria. Our 280 professionals deliver round-the-clock services to the global asset management sector helping clients navigate complexity, stay ahead of regulatory change and build investor confidence
2° You have recently decided to join L3A - what are the key reasons behind this?
Having extended our PSF license in 2023 to include registrar agent, central administration and client communication agent we have developed our service line significantly. We currently offer services to 20 alternative investment funds. Our typical client type is a fund of funds manager specializing in private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and private debt, catering primarily to high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors. We are ready to join the L3A because we are at a point where we feel we have the experience to contribute to the association and engage with other industry stakeholders to learn and exchange knowledge and ideas.
3° What do you see as the greatest opportunities offered by Luxembourg in the alternative
The opportunities offered by Luxembourg in the alternative administrator provider market are, in our opinion - the concentration of expert knowledge, the regulatory framework and the support provided by various training bodies, legal firms and audit firms via dissemination of information and finally the maturity and reputation of Luxembourg as a investment fund hub. The specific challenges we have found are – the labour market (resource scarcity and price competition), cross-border dialogue around AML/CTF requirements, and finally tailoring IT applications to suit specific reporting requirements.
